This is a simple tool to make it easier to create a terminal color scheme based on the colors in an image.
First, upload an image by clicking the upload button.
After uploading an image unique colors will be extracted out and displayed below in order of number of similar pixels.
The "threshold" refers to how different a color must be to be considered a new color. At high values there will be very few colors, at low, many.
Underneath is a panel showing the terminal color scheme. The color names are just labels showing what the color is by default.
You can set a color in two ways:
Selecting an image color by clicking the scheme color to select it and then clicking an image color to set it.
Setting the color directly by double clicking the scheme color to bring up a color wheel.
The text below shows what the scheme would look like on the scheme background.
Then you can select your terminal to export to. (I used ChatGPT for the formats so take it with a grain of salt)
